The EdenPURE space heater uses quartz and infrared bulbs to produce heat. The housing of the heater contains copper heat exchangers to absorb the heat and transfer it by means of filtered air into a room.
Safety
The EdenPURE heater does not have exposed heating elements and the cabinet housing does not become hot, making it a safe small space heating option for families with pets and children.

Claims
The makers of EdenPURE claim the heater can save consumers up to 50 percent on heating costs. Celebrity home improvement expert, Bob Vila has endorsed the product. However, Consumer Reports warns that using electric, including the EdenPURE space heater, in place of a gas furnace can result in higher heating costs.
