Use Nintendo Ds As An Ebook Reader

Use Nintendo DS As an Ebook Reader

The Nintendo DS is an enormously functional device. The handheld gaming system can play games, but homebrew software also allows users to watch movies, listen to music and even organize their day. There is even software to allow the Nintendo DS to be used as an Ebook reader, so you can take your favorite electronic books anywhere you go and have them only take up the space of a Nintendo DS cartridge.

Instructions

1. Download DSLibris, the Nintendo DS Ebook reader, from the site in the Resources section of this article.

2. Plug your flash card writing device into your computer and insert your Nintendo DS-compatible flash card.

3. Uncompress the DSLibris zipfile and place all files in the root directory of your flash card.

4. Place your Ebooks into the "Book" directory that DSLibris has placed on your flash card.

5. Eject your flash card and place it in your Nintendo DS.

6. Turn on your Nintendo DS and start DSLibris. Your DS D-Pad navigates between Ebooks and the "A" button selects an Ebook for reading. Use the "L" and "R" buttons to turn the pages and "Start" to return to the Library screen.
