Keep A Trampoline Spring Cover In Place

A trampoline spring cover serves several safety purposes. It prevents painful pinches that can occur when a person gets his hand or finger caught in a spring, and it provides a soft pad for trampoline users to fall on if they overshoot the main surface of the trampoline. This helps users avoid painful falls through or on the springs and trampoline frame. Keeping a spring cover in place depends on several factors.

Instructions

1. Purchase a spring cover that is the appropriate shape and size for your trampoline. Ill-fitting covers are prone to slippage and may not effectively cover all spring areas. Measure your trampoline's width and height (or diameter, if it is a round trampoline) to ensure you get the right cover.

2. Place the spring cover on your trampoline and inspect it for any problem areas. The cover should sit neatly over the springs on all sides of the trampoline and should not be too loose or too tight.

3. Secure the trampoline cover using the materials supplied by the manufacturer. Some covers use Velcro strap systems, while others rely on the tension of the shape to stay secure.

4. Reinforce the stability of the spring covers by wrapping them with zip ties. Wrap a tie around the pad and trampoline frame and tighten it until the pad is secure. Repeat this process every few feet around the trampoline for maximum security.
