Make Environmentallyfriendly Ant Repellant

Keep ants out with this natural repellant.


Ants frequently invade homes and apartments in search of food and a place to nest. This pest invasion is avoidable, however, if you utilize an all-natural, non-chemical ant repellent. It is easy to make and simple to use indoors. The best part is, it will not damage the environment or endanger your kids and pets. This natural ant remedy only works if properly used and deployed, which is part of the process. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Fill one glass jar with a solution of equal parts borax and sugar. For a typical, quart-sized jar, measure out 1/4-cup sugar and 1/4-cup borax and pour it into the jar.


2. Insert a piece of tissue paper into the jar then fill the jar with water.


3. Puncture the lid to the jar with a small thumb drill or sharp metal tool. Screw the lid onto the jar.


4. Set the jar in an area where you notice ants frequently. The ants will crawl into the jar and consume the sugary solution. The borax will kill the ants.
