There are numerous mobile home parks in South Texas-most catering to "snowbirds" and retirees. The parks, nestled in the Rio Grande Valley, offer amenities such as cable TV and Internet service to their daily, weekly, monthly and annual residents. Utilities such as electricity are provided but usually cost extra.

The Alamo Palms is a 58-acre RV and mobile home park with 292 mobile home sites. The resort fees cover Cable television and high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection, garbage pickup, brush pickup, access to the laundromat and clubhouse, use of pool tables, shuffleboard courts, tennis courts, swimming pool, spa, library and exercise building. Electricity is not included and is billed on metered KWH usage.

Mission Bell RV Resort
Mission Bell RV Resort has 358 spaces that can accommodate mobile homes, park models, camp trailers and recreational vehicles. The park offers four lot sizes to accommodate different mobile home sizes. The smallest and least expensive is the Economy Lot, followed by the Standard Lot, then the Deluxe Lot and the Premium Lot - the largest lot size and most expensive of the four.
Mission Bell offers annual lot rentals, as well as three-, four-, five- and six-month contracts. They also offer monthly and daily rates, which are dependent on lot size and the month rented. Prices vary per month and interested parties are advised to check the Mission Bell website for the most current rates.
Rates include Wi-Fi Internet connection, free long distance calls within the U.S. and Canada, city water and sewer service, weekly trash pickup, lawn care and access to many activities. Electricity is not included in the rental cost and are subject to fluctuating energy prices.

Victoria Palms RV Resorts not only offers mobile home lot rental, it also sells and rents mobile homes. The park has four lot areas for mobile homes. The least expensive area is the Original Park area, followed by the Expansion Area, the Expansion Area Pull-Through and the Expansion Area A&B, which is the most expensive. Monthly rates vary per area and per month, so interested parties are advised to check the website for the most up-to-date rate.
Rates include telephone service, cable TV and hi-speed Internet. Annual residents need to purchase their hi-speed modems but those who live in the park seasonally can borrow a modem with a deposit.

Bentsen Grove Resort and RV Park
Bentsen Grove Resort and RV Park has 800 lots that can accommodate mobile homes and RVs. The resort is open year-round for permanent stays and seasonal guests. The rental season begins Nov. 1 and all six-month to yearly mobile home lot renters must pay their rent in full by that date. Those staying for a day to six days, weekly, monthly or for three months only must pay their balance upon arrival.
There are three lots to choose from: regular, large and extra large. Regular lots can be rented for days, months or years. Daily to three month rentals, include electricity and cable TV with the price whilst six months to yearly rentals do not include either.
Large lots can be rented daily or weekly with electricity and cable TV included in the price. One-month stays to yearly rentals do not include either. Extra large lots are only available for six-month to yearly rentals and the rates do not include the cost of electricity.
