People with or without a horse are invited to camp at this location. Views include Mount Rushmore and Harney Peak. These are some of the accessible sites that you can reach from this campground. The staff is there to help campers make the most of their stay at Elk Haven. They can provide visitors information about the country and horses. The only complaint guests say to experience is the number of locations they feel the need to see with limited amount of time. A gift store, café, and camping cabins are some of the facilities on-site.

Kemp's Kamp
The camp is located in a convenient area in Keystone, 1.5 miles east of the city. You can access Country Road and Hill City from here. Mt. Rushmore is only five minutes from this location. Other locations that can be accessed through this area are the Needles Highway in Custer State Park and Crazy Horse. The location of the park is in the center of Black Hills. A number of other areas can be accessed through the camp's location: Hot Springs, Hill City, Deadwood, Rapid City and Hot Springs are some of the other areas you can access.
