Store A Trampoline For The Winter

Proper winter storage extends the life of a trampoline.


Trampolines provide enjoyable exercise for children and even adults. They are commonly used during the summer. Proper storage of the trampoline during the winter increases the life of the device, providing more summers of safe enjoyment. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for disconnecting the various parts necessary to prepare the trampoline for winter storage. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Remove the net from around the safety enclosure, if applicable. The safety enclosure's frame can remain connected to the trampoline frame.


2. Disconnect the mat, sometimes referred to as the jumping surface, from the springs. Store the mat in a cool, dry place. Protect the mat from rodent damage.


3. Remove the pad over the springs. Store the pad in a cool, dry place away from rodents. Remove the pad according to the manufacturer's instructions.


4. Remove the springs from the trampoline frame. Store them in a dry place.


5. Disassemble the trampoline frame. This step is optional. The frame can be left outdoors if you wish.
