Dent Ohio Area Restaurants

Dent is known for its haunted school house.


Dent, Ohio is known for The Dent Schoolhouse, a haunted attraction rated number six among haunted houses in America. The story is that a mass murder took place in the actual schoolhouse and it is forever haunted. Dent, a tiny town, with a population of approximately eight thousand in the 2000 census, is part of the Cincinnati metro area. There are a few restaurants in and around the Dent area.

Sakura Steak House and Sushi bar was started in 1988 by Marc Ha. Kick off the meal with appetizers like shrimp flambe, Sakura chicken liver (cooked Teppan style), scallops, mushrooms and Sakura fried rice. Entrees include Teppan seafood like lobster, shrimp, scallops and salmon. There are chicken, steak and vegetable main courses too. From the Sushi bar there is every type of sushi imaginable: spicy maki, nigiri, hamachi, ika, saba and more. Start off with miso soup and end with sake or a Japanese beer such as Kirin, Asahi or Sapporo.
