Remove A Mobile Home Bathroom Window

All home repair and maintenance projects require knowledge of the task at hand. Something as simple as removing a window actually requires more attention and preparation than you may think. Once you have your tools and supplies in order, follow a few simple instructions and remove that mobile home window with ease. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Remove the siding around the bathroom window from the exterior of the mobile home using your J-rail. You cannot remove a window frame if the siding is still intact, holding it into the mobile home exterior wall.

2. Remove all of the screws holding the frame together, using a screwdriver. Use new screws when replacing the window since the older ones are worn and the heads may be damaged after being removed.

3. Pull the frame out once it is no longer being held in place with screws.

4. Scrape off any old putty between the frames. Apply fresh putty tape around the window frame to prep for the new window.
