Instructions

Clothes Do Not Dry Completely

1. Allow adequate time for drying. Lower wattage dryers require longer drying times.

2. Remove all lint on the lint screen.

3. Clean the exhaust system and remove all lint in the exhaust vent. Replace the plastic exhaust vent with a metal exhaust vent.

4. Select the appropriate cycle for the type of material being dried.

5. Remove extra dryer sheets. Extra sheets occasionally block the grille and cause longer drying times.

6. Determine the room temperature. The dryer requires a minimum temperature of 45 degrees Fahrenheit to operate efficiently.

7. Dry a smaller load. Remove some articles of clothing from the dryer.

Dyer Does Not Run

8. Replace regular fuses with time-delay fuses.

9. Close the dryer door completely.

10. Turn the control knob away from the "Off" position and select an appropriate cycle. Press the "Push to Start" button firmly.

Stains on Clothing After Drying

11. Avoid adding dryer sheets to a partially dried load of clothing to prevent stains caused by the fabric softener sheets.

12. Clean the clothing thoroughly before placing items in the dryer.

13. Sort clothes. Avoid washing dark and light clothing together. Color changes occur if the colors bleed during washing.

Wrinkled Loads

14. Remove the load from the dryer as soon as the cycle completes.

15. Avoid overloading the dryer. Clothes must tumble freely to prevent wrinkling.

16. Select an appropriate drying cycle for the type of clothing placed in the dryer. Overdrying causes wrinkling.
