Donate your old vehicle to the Ohio Valley Goodwill in Cincinnati.


Located in Cincinnati, Ohio is the Ohio Valley Goodwill, which was founded in 1916. The Ohio Valley Goodwill is a charity whose purpose is to provided jobs and job training to those who are unable to obtain employment. The Ohio Valley Goodwill organization accepts donations from the community in the form of money, clothing, computers and vehicles. The organization works with individuals from their community as well as war veterans.


Instructions


1. Visit the Ohio Valley Goodwill's website to donate a vehicle, where you will locate the Ohio Valley Goodwill Vehicle Donation Form. Additionally, the form can be obtained at the Ohio Valley Goodwill office location for those without computer access.


2. Fill out the Ohio Valley Goodwill Vehicle Donation form. Enter your name and address, the address where to pick up the vehicle, the year, make and model of the vehicle and whether or not the vehicle runs.


3. List any specific problems with the vehicle and any repairs it needs. Provide your phone number and email address and which method is better for contacting you. Submit your application online or deliver it to the Ohio Valley Goodwill offices. Sign your vehicle title to release you from ownership.


4. Schedule an appointment with the Ohio Valley Goodwill to have your donated vehicle picked up by the charity. Your car will be used by the charity or sold at their vehicle auction. You will receive a tax form from the Ohio Valley Goodwill after you donate your vehicle that states either the fair market value or the auction sale price of your vehicle. This is the amount you can deduct on your income tax return.
