North Carolina Rv Parks Near I40

Interstate 40 stretches across the state of North Carolina from the border with Tennessee in the West to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in the East. The highway runs past some of the state's major cities including Durham, Greensboro and Wilmington as well as the Duke University, North Carolina State, the University of North Carolina and Wake Forest University. The Indian Springs Campground is located in the town of Hickory, off of I-40 exit 119 on the banks of the Henry River. The Hickory Metro Convention Center, Hickory Motor Speedway and shopping at the furniture mart are some of the local attractions close to the park. Guests at campground enjoy swimming and fishing in the river, basketball and volleyball courts and picnic facilities. Birchwood RV Park is set in the heart of the Triangle Region of North Carolina in the city of Durham, about 5 minutes from exit 266.
