Sell Junk Cars In North Carolina

Junk cars are perfect for new drivers and those who want to fix up an older car and need to get one cheap. Those who sell the cars have a variety of things they can do to find a buyer. If you live in North Carolina and want to sell junk cars you can go to a junk yard or advertise in a newspaper like the Charlotte Observer.

Instructions

1. Advertise in the classified ad of a major newspaper, just make sure to list the car as a "Junk vehicle." The Charlotte Observer, Asheville Citizen Times, Raleigh News and Observer and the Winston-Salem Journal are all great choices.

2. Pick up a copy of the weekly City Guide newspaper for the largest metropolitan city near you and list the junk car as "For sale." This City Guide newspaper is a staple in North Carolina and is available for free in major cities like Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro.

3. Sell your junk car at one of the statewide auto auctions. Included here is one website where these auctions are located as well as the contact information for those dealers. This is a great place to see junk cars because buyers come from all over the state rather than one specific city or location.

4. Use one of the online auction sites like eBay Motors or a similar auction site. These websites allow users to bid on vehicles of all types, styles and sizes no matter where they live. When using a national auction site, just let buyers know that they need to pick the car up in person.

5. Take the junk car to a junk yard like the ones listed on the North Carolina junk yard directory website. Many of these junk yards purchase cars for a small amount of money and then sell the parts of the vehicle to other buyers. This is the best option for those who want to get rid of the car as soon as possible.
