CenterPoint in Minnesota offers Home Service Plus furnace and appliance repair and maintenance to residents in the St. Paul/Minneapolis metropolitan area as well as other parts of Minnesota. Plans
A variety of repair plans are available through Home Service Plus. Monthly rates as of 2011 are $17.50 for the Basic Repair Plan, $39.95 for the Total Repair Plan, an additional $5.20 for Optional Appliance Coverage and $8 for a maintenance plan.
Coverage
The Basic Plan protects consumers by covering repairs on their furnace or boiler, water heater, range and clothes dryer. The Total Plan will also cover repairs to central air conditioning, dishwasher, freestanding freezer, refrigerator, clothes washer, gas fireplace and gas grill. Optional Appliance Coverage can include drain cleaning. The Maintenance Plan includes tune-up service for central air conditioning, fireplace or furnace/boiler. Labor and most parts are covered with all of these plans.
Availability
Home Service Plus is available by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The website also provides an on-line sign-up form for repair service. CenterPoint reminds consumers that if they suspect a natural gas leak they should vacate immediately and contact CenterPoint's gas leak hot line.
