On occasion, your flat screen TV may temporarily lose power. Bad weather can bring down power lines and cut off the electricity in and around your home. Electrical circuits can over-load or under-load; either will cause a loss of power. The steps you take after the lights come back on will determine how long your TV lasts beyond the surge.
Instructions
1. Press the "Power" button on the remote control or TV control panel once.
2. Wait 30 seconds if the power to your flat screen TV is still not restored. Press the "Power" button a second time.
3. Plug some of the externally connected devices to another outlet or power strip. Check the circuit breaker and flip the switch back on, if it tripped.
4. Unplug the TV power cord from the wall outlet if your TV's power is still not restored. Turn off all externally connected equipment and unplug those device's power cords from the power source. Wait another 30 seconds and replug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet first, then plug in externally connected devices. Press your TV's "Power" button first; then press the "Power" button on externally connected devices.
