The Extreme package provides one slice of pizza, two pitchers of soda, 180 game tokens and glow sticks for a child and 14 guests. Other packages include the Premium, which allows the child and nine guests, and the 50th Anniversary kids birthday package, which includes free skating, pizza and soda.
Gymnastics Parties
Another idea for a kids birthday party in North Carolina is a gymnastics party. Apex Gymnastics, located in Apex, has a kids party package which includes 50 minutes of gym time, where coaches supervise free play on the floor and kids can go through the obstacle course and jump on the trampoline, and 40 minutes in the lobby, a birthday trophy, coupons for future parties, and each guest gets a gymnastics ribbon. The party also includes invitations that can be downloaded. North Raleigh Gymnastics and Martial Arts has a birthday party program for kids that includes an hour of gymnastics, supervised by a coach and including time on the rope swing and tumble track, and 45 minutes in the party room complete with cake and ice cream. The facility does require release forms be signed.

A party idea for parents who want their kids to be engaged and learn something at the same time is the museum party. Greensboro Children's Museum offers kids birthday parties. Packages include the Crazy for Cookies party, which allows kids to make create their own cookies, on-site, by mixing and shaping dough, and the Green Thumb party, in which kids get to go on a hunt for bugs, animals and leaves. Each party includes admission for the child and up to 15 guests, two hours in the party room, invitations and an option for discounted pizzas. The Museum of Life and Science in Durham, offers a basic party package for kids that allows up to 20 children and provides an hour in the party room and invitations. The themed party provides all-day admission for up to 12 kids, invitations, a 30-minute theme presentation that includes crafts and an hour and a half in the party room. The museum also has a worry-free option that includes cake, pizza, lemonade and all of the plates and cutlery.
