Return A Sears Appliance

Have receipts or warranty slips available to exchange or return a Sears appliance.

If you are not satisfied with a recently purchased Sears appliance, contact Sears as soon as you notice a problem so you can return the appliance and get a full refund or exchange. Under the Sears return policy, all home appliances may be returned for a full refund within 30 days for gas powered appliances, and within 90 days for general electric appliances. Appliances are generally large in size and weight, so requesting a Sears pick up is the best option to return a defected appliance. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Have your receipt and warranty available. All appliances must accompany a receipt for return. Appliances, as stated on the Sears website, may be returned for full refund or exchange as long as they are returned 30 days from the purchase.

2. Situate the appliance's accessories neatly inside the box it was packaged in. Sear's return policy requests that all equipment accompanying an appliance be returned in order for a refund or exchange to be honored.

3. Schedule your appliance to be picked up by Sears. Visit the store locator link (Resources) to find the store nearest you. Contact that store's customer service department at 1-800-349-4358 to request a pickup date and time. Report in detail the problem or defect of the appliance to the customer service representative.

4. Upon pickup, have the receipt and the warranty available with the appliance. Be sure to make copies of your receipt and warranty for your personal reference.

5. To cancel a return pickup, contact the Sear's store customer service department. Store pickup orders can be canceled during store hours.
