Just west of Interstate 29, the Southeast Technical Institute (STI) sits along North Career Avenue near County Highway 140 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. STI has vocational classes in horticulture, auto body repair, document formatting and production, and office procedure. The school also awards applied science associate degrees, diplomas and certificates in subject areas such as nursing, electronics technology and business administration. On-line classes are available and the school also has financial assistance for those in need.
Western Dakota Technical Institute
Along Mickelson Drive in Rapid City, South, Dakota, the Western Dakota Technical Institute is also close to Interstate 90 and Cambell Street. With coursework in areas such as health information technology, computer-aided drafting, electrical technology, fire science and law-enforcement, the Western Dakota Technical Institute also provides paralegal and legal assistant training, as well. Manufacturing and mechanical classes include collision repair, transportation and electronics technology and welding that is offered in partnership with local businesses such as General Motors.
