Instructions
1. Clean the appliance before the first use and after each subsequent use. Scrape the cooking surface with a plastic spatula to remove food particles. Apply a drop of dish detergent to a damp sponge and wipe the interior. Wipe it again with a clean, damp sponge to remove soap residue. Dry with a clean towel.
2. Plug in the unit. Close the lid. Allow it to preheat for about six minutes, or until the indicator light turns green.
3. Spray the cooking surface (including the upper lid) with cooking spray.
4. Place a slice of bread on the bottom of the cooking surface.
5. Top the bread with your desired sandwich ingredients, such as spreads, cheeses, precooked meats, vegetables and spices. Top with another slice of bread.
6. Lower the cover to rest on top of the sandwich. Do not press down on the cover.
7. Wait three to five minutes, then lift the lid and check your food. If your sandwich is not cooked to your preference, lower the lid and allow it to cook for one or two more minutes.
