Make Cd Dvd & Game Scratch Remover

Remove the scratches on your CDs, DVDs and game disks.

A scratched CD, DVD or game disk will not perform normally. It may skip, get stuck or not play at all. But you don't have to throw it out. Make a homemade scratch remover using common household items. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Squeeze four drops of toothpaste into a bowl.

2. Mix in 1 tablespoon of baking soda.

3. Apply a small amount of the mixture to a soft, lint-free cloth, such as those that come with eyeglasses.

4. Rub the cloth gently over the scratch, starting from the center of the disk and moving outwards. Do this for several minutes. The goal is to remove the ridges that form around a scratch, making the scratch shallower. Do not rub in circular motions as this can create small scratches. Also, do not rub too hard.

5. Reapply the toothpaste mixture to your cloth as needed.

6. Remove the toothpaste from the disk by rinsing it in warm water. Wait for the disk to dry.
