Applying to be on the show is simple, but getting chosen to appear on Yard Crashers is difficult due to the number of applicants. With a little luck and proper instructions, you can appear on an episode of Yard Crashers.
Instructions
1. Visit the "DIY Network" Yard Crashers website.
2. Scroll down the page under the heading "More From DIY Network" and locate and click on the link "Be on DIY Network."
3. Scroll through the list of TV shows on the "DIY Network" and click on "Yard Crashers." If you do not locate "Yard Crashers" from the list, then the show is not producing new episodes or soliciting viewers at the moment. Check back at least once a month to see if the filming status changes.
4. Follow the instructions on the application page. The instructions vary, depending on where they are filming. In most cases, you'll need to email a brief description of what you like/dislike about your backyard, as well as photos, phone number, email address and city of residence. Expect a response within three to four weeks via your email.
