1. Take the pen and write down as many "cowboy" phrases as you can think of. Some of these phrases could be "Giddy up!" "Yee-Haw," "Ride 'em cowboy!" "Round 'em up," or "Wanted" (as in an outlaw poster).
2. Next, take the pen and write as many items you can think of that fit into the cowboy theme such as "boots," "10-gallon hat," "rattlesnakes," "broncos," "spurs," and "chaps."
3. Read through your list and see if you can come up with a creative slogan using some of the phrases and items to invite people to the party. For example, you could write, "Get out your boots and 10 gallon hats and giddy on up to the party!" or "Ride your bronco on over to my house for some ropin' and ridin' and watch out for rattlesnakes on the way!" If you want to make the invitation like an outlaw poster, you might write, "Wanted: All party-goers" or "Wanted: All friends and family of (name of person)."
4. Once you've come up with your creative slogan, make sure to add the details of the party. If you said "Giddy on up to the party," make sure to specify when and where the party is taking place and who it is for, so it would become, "Giddy on up to Sarah's 10th birthday party on Friday at high noon at 123 Main St." If you don't want to put the details of the party in the actual slogan, just make sure to include them somewhere on the invitation.
