The Sciphone mimics a well-known smartphone through its design and access to applications on a touch-screen interface. You can load an eBook file into the Sciphone's internal memory. You will need a connection cable to connect the Sciphone to a computer. You will also need an eBook manager program, which can be acquired for free or at a minimal cost and which is designed to interface with both the Sciphone and the computer.
Instructions
1. Connect the Sciphone connector at one end of the Sciphone USB cable into the Sciphone's connection socket. Insert the other end of the Sciphone USB cable into a free USB port on the computer.
2. Download a eBook manager program to the desktop, for example, the Ebook manager program or the Aspi manager program or the Hello Tunes manager program. Double-click the file once downloaded to decompress the file to a program.
3. Click "Start." Select "All Applications" from the pop-up menu, followed by the name of the eBook manager program from a sub-menu to launch it.
4. Click the "Book" or "eBook" tab -- depending on how the program is made -- at the top of the program's main screen. Let the program display a list of eBooks that are already loaded in the left column of the screen.
5. Drag the eBook file, stored on the computer's hard drive, onto the left column. Click once on the name of the eBook file that is now in the left column to review its contents on the right column of the program.
6. Run the mouse pointer over the icons at the top of the program. Stop the pointer when you see 'Transfer files" or "Copy" or "Sync" text -- the actual name may vary, depending on how the program is made. Click on this icon to bring up a window.
7. Click on the icon of a cell phone that is in the left column of the window. Click the Save" button at the bottom of the window; if there are no icons, just click the Save" button.
8. Quit the program after the window has disappeared from the screen. The Sciphone can now be disconnected from the computer.
