Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Repair a Hole in Mobile Home Skirting

1. Observe the weather forecasts for the day that you plan to repair the hole in your manufactured home skirting. It is important that you choose a day with suitable conditions to ensure that your repair is successful. Make sure that it isn't raining, as this can cause the repair tape to peel. Temperatures should also be above freezing for a proper hole repair.

2. Prepare the vinyl around the hole by cleaning it. Use a rag and cleaner to remove any buildup of dirt that could prevent the adhesive from sticking. A grease cleaner is recommended if the vinyl feels particularly oily or greasy. If the skirting has tar on it, make a paste of three parts baking soda to one part water. Mix it together and apply to the area to be treated. Wipe it off gently with a rag. Let the area dry.

3. Measure the length and width of the hole with a measuring tape. Using scissors, cut the weather-resistant tape to the length of the hole. Peel back the tape's adhesive cover and apply the tape to the mobile home skirting hole. Layer the tape if necessary. Secure the tape's edges with your fingers.
