Use Dry Ice To Remove A Dent From Your Car

Did you know that you can used dry ice to remove car dents? Have you ever wished you could remove dents from your car yourself? Whether you live in the busy city or in the country, sooner or later your car will get a dent in it. You can take your car to the body shop and pay someone to remove those car dents or you can get the dents out yourself, using dry ice.


Instructions


1. The dry ice: To remove dents, you will need to purchase some dry ice for the project. Go on line and see where you can buy it in your town. The ice should cost less than a dollar a pound.


2. Preparing to remove the dent: Dry ice can cause frost bite, and cause serious burns on the skin. Make sure you protect your skin, by wearing protective rubber or cloth gloves, before you handle the ice.


3. Remove the dent: Wrap the dry ice in a soft cloth, to protect the paint on your car. Place ice on the dent, slowly move it around the dent. As the metal gets cold, it will contract, pulling the dent out. It will take from 10 to 20 minute to get the dent out.
