Paint A Trampoline

Trampolines are usually relatively safe, but it is still a good idea to use caution when jumping on one.

Trampolines are large, usually circular, spring-loaded sheets that are used for jumping on. Trampolines use a thin but very durable fabric for the jumping mat, which is attached to an outer frame by thick and sturdy springs. Trampoline sheets are usually only black, however, there are ways to change this bland color to something a little more fun. You will need to purchase a specific kind of paint to do so, however.

Instructions

1. Remove the trampoline mat from the frame by taking off each spring.

2. Wash the trampoline off with warm water and mild soap. Do not wash too hard. Allow the trampoline several hours to air dry.

3. Purchase a very high quality acrylic paint of the color that you want. These can be purchased at home and garden or arts and crafts stores.

4. Use a standard paint roller to roll the paint on the top of the trampoline canvas. Allow it about an hour or two to dry, then flip the canvas and paint the other side. Give the mat about a day to dry. After this time, it should be ready to be reattached to the frame.
