Repair Audio Pro Subwoofers

The Audio Pro subwoofer brings crisp bass sounds to complete your surround sound home theater. But every now and then, loose or damaged satellite speaker connections, extremely high volume settings, and overheated units may occur. Audio Pro subwoofer issues can often be solved with a strategy that addresses how the subwoofer is set up. How it is used from day to day should also be taken into account. Once you determine the exact cause of the problem, you can take measures to counter its recurrence.

Instructions

1. Check for damaged cables and replace any that are found.

2. Check the polarity. Match positive inputs and with correct outputs; and match negative inputs with proper negative outputs.

3. Check for loose cable connections and tighten any that are found.

4. Connect the speakers to the "Speaker Output" of the main amplifier to get full frequency range of 100 Hertz (Hz), if desired.

5. Check your setup. Plug the cord that came with your Audio Pro subwoofer to the "LINE IN" input on the subwoofer.

6. Utilize the "Y" adapter that came with your Audio Pro subwoofer for both left (L) and right (R) inputs.

7. Turn off the "mains" switch if the circuit overloads due to a too high volume setting. Wait 15 seconds and then turn the "mains" switch back on to reset the subwoofer.
