Real estate can be a lucrative market for those who know the ins-and-outs of buying and selling property. But if you aren't completely knowledgeable of the real estate industry, you may need a little help. If you're looking to invest in property and reside in the Windy City, you'll find a few real estate investment clubs in and around South Chicago that can help you get started.
University of Chicago Real Estate Club
Students of the University of Chicago can join the campus Real Estate Club. The club was founded in 2009 to increase student awareness of career development and investment opportunities associated with the real estate industry. Students who join the club attend seminars, meet with guest speakers and industry professionals, participate in competitions, internships, recruiting and networking events, and even find job opportunities while completing their studies. Part of the club/course curriculum includes participating in real-life hands-on real estate investments.
