Instructions

1. Apply a dab of olive oil to a paper towel. Olive oil removes dirt, grime, fingerprints and streaks from stainless steel without harming the finish.

2. Wipe the paper towel thoroughly over the refrigerator. Ensure the scratched area is completely clean before you remove any scratches.

3. Rub the scratched stainless steel with a non-metallic abrasive pad. Use long, uniform strokes, and follow the direction of the current polishing lines. You may end up altering the finish, but this is an inexpensive alternative to a professional job.

4. Dampen a microfiber cloth with white vinegar. Wipe the stainless steel with the white vinegar to add shine and protect the stainless steel.
