Rv Parks In North Carolina

North Carolina RV parks offer mountain, foothill and coastal views.

According to the North Carolina Secretary of State and tourism board, the state of North Carolina is split into three distinct areas. The mountains are self-explanatory, offering you opportunities for hiking and skiing. The Piedmont, sometimes referred to as the foothills, provides scenic views and a countryside setting. Then there's the coast, with its beaches and lighthouses. All three regions offer plenty of RV camping opportunities, ranging from state parks to resorts.

Asheville Bear Creek

Asheville Bear Creek RV Park is a luxury RV resort in North Carolina's mountain region. The RV resort offers 90 paved sites with 30 and 50 amp full hookup service. The 25 pull through sites can accommodate rigs up to 60 feet long. You can also tent camp or stay in a cabin here. Amenities include free wireless Internet, shower blocks, store with propane, a laundry room and game room. The campground can also accommodate groups and rallies with its kitchen-equipped club house and also offers several recreation options including a playground, basketball court and heated pool.

North Carolina State Fairgrounds

You won't find many RV parks in Raleigh, the capital of North Carolina, but you can stay at the Fairgrounds. You may call one of the 30 and 50 amp full hookup spaces home for up to 14 days. The Fairgrounds offer 350 spots on a first come, first served basis. As with many fairground RV parks, this is little more than a parking lot, but it does get you close to the attractions of downtown Raleigh for an affordable fee.
