None of your groomsmen really need another useless trinket lying around! Guys can be hard to shop for, but with a little bit of thought, you can come up with a great gift that your groomsmen, groom's attendants or best man will appreciate for a long time.
Different Guys, Different Gifts
Your groomsmen aren't all the same, so who says they'll all enjoy the same gift? If they all have different interests, there's no reason you should give them all the same things. For example, if one guy likes sports, consider a ticket to a sporting event. For the tech-savvy guy, try an iPod or other nifty gadget.
Gifts for the Wedding
Ties are gifts that your groomsmen can use again.
If you're on a small budget, go for something simple they can use at your wedding, like cufflinks or a silk tie. Give pieces like this in solid, easy-to-match colors so they can be used again.
Other Budget-Friendly Gifts
How about a nice pocketknife as a gift?
There are plenty of other small, inexpensive gifts you can give to your groomsmen as well! Consider pocketknives, flasks or beer glasses, or put together a kit using a small bag and adding some travel accessories like shaving supplies, shampoo and soap.
Engravings
Many suppliers of wedding products offer customized engravings on groomsmen gifts. Think about this though: would you want to see the names of your friend and his wife in swirly letters every time you pulled out your pocketknife? If you really must have your gifts engraved, keep the engraving in a non-conspicuous place and make sure it won't prevent your groomsman from wanting to actually use the gift.
Events
Get the guys all tickets to an event you can enjoy together.
If your budget allows for it, buy tickets to a sporting event or concert for you and all your guys as a thank-you for their time.
Gift Card
If you still can't think of anything, give your groomsmen a gift card so they can pick out their own gift! Depending on the guy, you could go with an athletics supply store, a music store or an electronics store. If you're really at a loss as to what a particular guy will like, you could even get a generic gift card that can be used anywhere.
